    Gentlemen,

    That is a Seamaster chrono 1040. Fair value IMO is 1500$ if it checks all boxes.

    I wouldn´t buy it, though, based on that sole picture, if the price wasn´t really low

    Thanks for an input. Yeah, it's been priced at $2.2k, with box and papers. But, it is a few states away from me, and yes picture is really poor quality, not a lot you can tell by looking at it.

    Please be aware that while the dial is an original Omega part, it is a later service replacement dial. The original dials had applied 5-minute metal markers and a white subdial at 6.

    There is a thread on here with a detailed analysis of all the dials, but I don't seem to be able to find it at the moment.
