Hi - can anyone recommend a good repair shop in midtown NYC for a speedmaster 145.022-69SW? I broke (lost?) the cap of the pusher and would like to replace. Watch is sitting unworn and forlorn. Thanks in advance! PS - I know most of you would just say order from Ofrei and do yourself but some of us are mechanically feeble and I just looked at Spacefruit's price table and !!
Nah, most here will recommend that it go in for a full service if it hasn't been serviced in the past 5 years Really though, it should probably go in for a full service
Ahaha, I forgot about preempting that reply! Serviced Nov 2015 before I bought and has been running ~2-3s/day according to Twixt app, so I'd rather just do a quickie fix for now.
My experience with Grand Central Watch Repair is they only do a full blown overpriced service. Wouldn't do a repair.
