Omega speedmaster velcro strap on FOIS

We're looking into buying the Omega Speedmaster velcro strap 032CWZ011583 for our FOIS, but it seems the 20mm lug width of the velcro strap won't fit the 19mm lugs of the FOIS as opposed to the nato straps where you can choose a width of 19mm.
Has anybody tried fitting this strap to a FOIS yet?

IDK, but also interested. IME, quite a few 20mm fabric straps work on the FOIS -- I swap various Crown and Buckle Chevrons and OEM NATOs from other watches including IWC. Those tend to be thinner, though.

Thanks for the info mrchen, the more time period accurate, the more we like it, the seb12100030 strap trumps Omega's by far in that regard, and the fact they're designed to fit 19mm is the icing on the cake.

I love how FOIS wears on my OEM cordura nato strap (20mm), no problems with fitting, i use curved springbars.

That’s a great look for sure. I do swap on my Jean Rousseau now and then but its a blue one. Still a great combo and canèrent beat the comfort.
