Long time lurker, first time poster.... but here goes:

My inbox (filtered):
HHZGiSA.jpg

Jan-10 - "YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY AN OMEGA SALESPERSON IN THE SUMMER 2017"
Jun-23 - First confirmed sale/delivery of a ST LE (in London).
Jul-12 - "Deliveries will be made throughout September. "
Aug-24 - "Your Speedy is still in production." (direct from Arthur)
Aug-28 - "You will anyways receive an email from me [before getting one from AD]" (direct from Arthur)
Sep-21 - "...delivery date may spill over into October."
Oct-19 - "Deliveries will be made throughout November."

Last direct communication was in August saying my ST LE was still in production. I then confirmed my contact information and Arthur assured me that he would send an email when my ST LE was inbound. Most of the other email blasts confirmed delivery dates were slipping.

So, here we are today - over 10 months later and there are only 10 more days left of November.

Will I receive my ST LE before month-end?
**OR **
Will we get another email saying "Deliveries are now being made in December."?
Another email containing empty promises I would imagine. Expecting the same in my inbox any moment

I think all people with undelivered STs should get a free Snoopy strap 😀

Next time I'd rather have my watch delivered to the AD in town. The OB experience wasn't really worth driving 300km in my case.

I agree. It'd go nice with all the other straps & bracelet I bought months ago. Oh, and the ST LE when it finally arrives.

What was it like? And what were you expecting? I mean, I've seen people enjoying champagne, taking pictures, trying on other watches, etc, but I'm sure it differs between each location (and client status). I'll eventually head to my local AD as the nearest OB was over 600 miles (965km) away. I'm hoping it's at least somewhat of an engaging experience but I bet it'll just be another "sale" for them.

I drove 2 hours in 100+ F temperatures to a crappy mall full of crappy mall people to pick mine up at the nearest Omega Boutique. Ended up blowing the entire afternoon chilling and talking about watches with the manager. Not a single upsell attempt either. It was an awesome experience that I don't think any AD would be able to match

Of course I got offered coffee and champaign - but would consider that as standard. I was not invited to try other watches. I would have asked if it had seen something of interest. However the boutique was really tiny and they didn't have much on display. No poster, no freebies. So what I got there I would have really gotten at the AD (plus a little cash discount 😉).

Well, today was my Speed Tuesday, at last. I have to admit, it looks absolutely great in the flesh and to me was easily worth the wait. I had a strap waiting for it and therefore exchanged the brown one straightaway, but it looks marvellous on that one too. I guess it will see some strap swaps, over the years to come. 😀

To those still waiting... Rest assured, you'll love it!

So disappointing. I'm still waiting for mine; and no further update since the last email saying deliveries extended to November.
