,
There are very few left to go. @STANDY might actually make it, especially if he is out fishing

Still nothing.......... It'll come 😀

Thinking now the two colour NATO may have been stopped at the border 😗

Still nothing here, aswell.

In January i thought, this will be a nice birthday present to myself. I was born in June...

Well, maybe it will be a birthday present, but one year later....

Haven't heard anything sine the "maybe November" mail...
I chased them up today and got a reply apologising for the delay, explaining how important quality control is and confirming that omega still plan on releasing all remaining ST’s in November.

There is still hope it will turn up in 2017

Reserved mine day after the speedy mail got out and recived it last July. But unboxed it just 2 weeks ago as a career gift.

If every piece is delivered this year its still pretty good work as Omega are producing 8 watches/day.

I understand your wait (still waiting after 2 years for My MKII Gmt 😁) , but when the ST arriving.... you Will be stunned its so Nice !!

I think the brushed case and panda sundials have had universal praise - and for good reason.
But the leather strap has had pretty universal loathing. I think unfairly.
I bought a vintage BandR bands strap for my ST and it is a great strap but looking closely at it made me re-evaluate what a great strap the standard strap is:
There is a quality to the official strap in grain, slenderness of leather, accuracy of stiching and grain of backing which the BandR just can’t compete with.
I am not knocking the BandR - I love it for what it is - just bigging up the standard ST strap

Well the original strap is high quality to be sure - the problem is it's ugly. It's plasticky, modern-looking leather with vintage stitching, ultimately causing a sort of "uncanny valley" reaction. I don't know if they went with their usual supplier, Jean Rousseau, but those straps cost $200 while straps from BandR are $50-60 - there's no way you can really compare the two

It's also likely they were trying to provide a matching leather strap with their leather pouch set - you know, meeting wholesale minimums...

The leather made for a great case, but a lousy strap...

The supplied strap I don't think it's the perfect match, but agree it's alot better than it gets credit for. I don't wear mine but I did try it once and was actually pleasantly surprised with it. The NATO on the other hand, quality but just doesn't work with the watch for me. It's is a shame they didn't just include a bracelet instead of the two straps.

I absolutely agree ... I was looking for and found a spare leather strap, which I think is nice for SpeedyTuesday 😀

Where's the best place to buy a snoopy strap and clasp? And what should they cost? I think the black snoopy strap "dresses" the watch up nicely, thanks
