Would love to know what percentage of those collected so far have been offered up for sale or trade on various forums, eBay, watchfinder etc. You don't see many actual photos of people enjoying wearing them that's for sure.
Don't like the NATO... It will remain in the watch roll... Le leather stap with its straight cut, no stitching works very well for me. Love it !
Ok tried it out on the modern steel bracelet... First opinion before I put the bracelet on was it would never work. Actual opinion trying it on... thing looks fine on it and it is definitely a viable option. Polished parts of the bracelet hide well on the wrist. And in my opinion since the hesalite is naturally shiny and the logo is polished, it doesn't seem too out of place. Think I prefer it on a strap though. Bonus lume shot as well.
I think it looks rather nice on the normal bracelet (as a simple option). I don't know if it is your pictures, but you almost can't tell. Nice pics BTW
You just can't really tell on the wrist that the whole side of the bracelet is polished. I really was on the fence before but I don't even remotely hate it.
So today was the day!!! Over the moon with the watch!!!!! I think they make a great pair!! Just need the snoopy strap now!!!!
I received the e-mail over two weeks ago saying that the watch was being shipped from Switzerland blah blah blah. I talked to the OB in NYC yesterday who said that the watch still hasn't left the factory and they will notify me when it does. The manager had my information and LE number on file already though as they were expecting the delivery. I wonder when it's coming! It just made me think that although they are communicating between Omega SA and the OBs, they don't seem to have their delivery dates down.
Mine is a similar mess, was initially told by email it would be with AD towards the end of last week, then a call last Thursday to say it would be with my AD mid week this week. I just called that number back to see if they knew what was happening, he said he'd look into it an call me back. Outcome was that there was a lack of communication with logistics and it still hasn't left yet, so can now expect it mid to late next week. I'm thankful it's not lost and is coming, but my blood pressure must be through the roof
