I have been shopping for a new watch and found myself doing size comparisons. After spending time making the chart, I thought I should share it here.
All this was about me deciding how large a watch I wanted. All measurements are in mm.
Included:
Tag Heuer 1500 Pro, 2000 Pro Chrono, Carrera Glassbox
Garmin Vivoactive 5
Breitling Chrono 42 P-51
Omega Speedmaster Reduced, 38, FOIS, Moonwatch, 57

And which watch did you decide to get?

I'm not completely sure I'll limit that choice to just one. ;-)
I have a 165mm (6.5") wrist. I kept checking out the various full size models at the local boutique... but I've been wearing the older Tag Heuer watches listed above for many years and I just prefer that size (38mm, 44-45 mm lug to lug) . So I just ordered a Speedmaster Automatic (Reduced)... I can't want to receive it.
I just didn't want the chart to go to waste, so I signed up and posted it above.

Well done. Welcome to the forum and post some pics when you get the new Speedy. 👍

How did you get all the measurements? Did you bring calipers into the AD/boutique? I would imagine not all the measurements are available on the website.

The first 3 columns are watches I own and measured myself. Everything else above for the Omega, Breitling and the TH Carrera are from the manufacturer websites. A few bits might be from other sites that seemed trustworthy.

I tried on a few Glassboxes the other day, I have to say that I was impressed. Too many other Speedies in the way before I'd buy one, but a great fit on wrist.

I really like it, but to me it felt pretty thick. The back protrudes a bit. May still get one later this year. I consider the Speedy "a tool watch". A blue glassbox would feel dressier to me, and I would wear it that way.

Speedmaster 38 is not 18mm thick, it’s closer to 14.5

I had an eye at the new FOIS but bought a glassbox instead. Digging it.
