Omega Speedmaster Reduced- Tritium Burn?

Hi everyone,

New member here from the Philippines, hope all are doing good.

Just got myself my first vintage watch for my birthday, and went with a Speedmaster Reduced.

I chose this one particularly due to the unique, reddish patina from its hour hand.

Now though, it got me thinking, if there was a chance this patina was modified ie. brushed, artificially put there etc.

From my seller, he did say it is confirmed a natural patina, and I am inclined to believe him as he is a reputable vintage seller in my area.

Just want to know anyone's thought if you think its normal/natural patina.

Been scouring the internet looking for an example such as mine but so far, haven't seen any.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you!

Find a Watchmaker to paint it white again. Problem solved. Why would an example like yours show up again on the Internet ? It's paint. Somebody did it. It's not Patina.... Whatever your " reputable Seller " said.

That watch has a super luminova dial & hands, which is new and will not develop patina like radium and/or tritium. As mentioned above, that is not “natural”
