Hi everyone, I recently bought the reduced cal.1143 and noticed that the seconds hand doesn't hack, is that normal or should I be worried? I searched everywhere if the cal.1143 hacks but I can't find the answer, thanks in advance for any help!

Here's a pic of me wearing the watch, as you can see my wrist isn't very large, that's why I got the reduced.

EDIT: Yes it does hack. Mine, which is an 1140 but there is little difference, the seconds hand starts moving in about 5 seconds, the minute hand can take up to 30 seconds. The problem I have is pulling the crown out, it's very stiff.

Thank you! So mine is broken?

At least you should have a watchmaker look at it. Be aware many/most watchmakers do not want to work on these.

I spoke to the seller and he’s taking it to a watchmaker under warranty. I hope they can fix it, I really like the watch.

It's all about a tiny spring/lever engaged by pulling the crown out. Let's hope it's still there, maybe somebody didn't fit the spring correctly in the sliding pinion during assembly. I think most of watchmakers are able to check it and put in correct position as this operation doesn't engage touching the DD module. Well, the DD simply needs to be taken off after unscrewing 3 screws and that's all. Basically it is just an ETA 2890...
