Hi All, I have a couple 561 and 564 Constellations, but am now in the market for a Speedmaster, but am not clued up on them at all. I am looking for an older model, 60's or early 70's. I know it probably a bit "how long is a piece if string" but is there anything I should look out for? Just looking for a basic model - i.e. not looking to spend a fortune on my frst one. Cheers Nick
I have a Speedy mark 4.5 presently with STS having a new chrono pusher and a case refinish.Is one of these any good to you?.
I'd look for a 1970s or 1980s Speedmaster Pro, probably a Ref 145.022, they're plentiful and very good value for the quality of watch they are.
There's a 1978 Speedmaster 145.022 for sale in the Watch Sales forum, if that's what you're looking for.
