Long time listener, first time caller.

I recently picked up a used Speedy (for what I think was a good deal - at least being in Oz) and was surprised to see it arrive with an 87 million serial number.

I'd been researching a lot and seen a lot of 77,7s and 77,8s in the 2014-2015 sale region.

The warranty cards aren't stamped on this one but the seller claims a purchase of Feb this year - which is nice.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the jump?

Also - here's an obligatory pic as I'm stoked to join the speedy club, but also hope the more knowledgeable here could give it the once over.

    Cheers.

My SM300 MC is an 87 serial ... I bought it last fall, so a Feb 2016 date for your Speedy ought to be about right.

My Speedy is two months old. The serial begins with 87.

    Thanks a lot guys.

I suppose they're bring speedmasters into line with their other watches (rather than having a different serial set)?

Still very excited to be in the club.
