    Hi All,
    Selling the raised logo "transitional" Speedmaster I built recently. This has a brown dial and matching hands - the patina is manufactured and stable, still glowing at night. I have built it to look like the first of the Cal. 861 moon watches and as such it has a raised logo dial and the pre moon case back.

    Here is a thread about the dial http://omegaforums.net/threads/yikes-i-made-a-brown-tropical-speedmaster-dial.14993/

    All parts of this watch are new or NOS with the exception of the movement which is an actual 26xxxxxx serial 861 loosely dating it to 1968.

    Case; NEW, Ref 145.012 (Large Hippocampus no moon reference)
    Crystal; NEW, Hesalite
    Bezel; NEW, Current production so not a dot over 90
    Dial; NEW, Raised applied logo with the correct wording. Correctly modified to fit the 861 (these are only available for the Cal 321) Specially aged brown with tan coloured markers. All even with no patchiness or marks. Patina is artificial (but not painted or relumed) and stable.
    Hands; NEW, Aged to match the dial
    Movement; SERVICED, Cal 861 with serial number in the mid 26xxxxxx range.
    Bracelet; NEW, 1171/633 end links. - 2 links but will still fit a very large wrist thanks to adjustment on the clasp.

    Full disclosure;
    This watch has been put together from parts, it did not leave the factory as a whole, I built it myself in my workshop. I have worn it for probably a total of one week since completion to make sure everything is as it should be. There will be signs of dust and fingerprints in the photos, particularly on the back of the lugs. Some very small marks are evident on the back of the lugs from switching bracelets around but these are mostly under the new bracelet ends and not visible.

    For those wondering how close to a real NOS transitional this is, there are three "tells"
    1. The dial is NOT a T Swiss T
    2. The reference inside the caseback is 145.0012 instead of 145.022
    3. The bezel is NOT a dot over 90.

    Selling for the parts and servicing cost $2750 USD + Postage + Paypal of 4% (international).
