Selling this 105.012-65 Omega Speedmaster Professional, serial 24.004.XXX, in exceptional, unpolished condition, and, of course, the same reference Neil Armstrong took to the moon. I bought it from Chronoholic (aka ndgal on the forum) in 2021, had the movement serviced by a vintage specialist with an Omega parts account, and never wore it. Comes with its original 1506 bracelet and #16 end links, along with the currently mounted Omega 1171 bracelet with 633 end links purchased from the Omega boutique in NYC. Comes with an Omega archives extract that dates production to Sept. 9, 1966. I’m using some of the original photos and description from the Chronoholic listing, since the condition is identical (and his photo skills are better!), but I’ve also included several current photos in natural light toward the bottom, along with a UV photo to show the original, matching tritium. DIAL: A near perfect “Close T” dial. Stunning patina. Tritium plots are excellent and show only minor degradation. HANDS: Original tritium hands in excellent condition. CROWN and PUSHERS: Original fat neck pushers and “flat-foot” crown. CASE: Asymmetrical case. Case is unpolished and super sharp with well-defined edges. BEZEL: Very clean “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) TACHYMETRE bezel in excellent condition. BRACELET: Full length 1506 dated to 1966 with #16 end links. MOVEMENT: Omega cal. 321. Super clean and serviced in late 2021 by Zimmermann Watch Service. (Service paperwork will be included) Keeping COSC time with all chrono functions working perfectly. NOTES: The Speedmaster Professional reference 105.012-65 is arguably the most important reference of them all, as it is the same one used by the Apollo XI astronauts on their historic mission. To clarify, following a member inquiry .... This Speedmaster will come with its original Omega 1506 bracelet with its #16 end links, AND the newer Omega 1171 bracelet with 633 end links, which are currently on the watch. That's why the photos show both bracelets. I purchased the 1171 bracelet to preserve the beautiful original 1506 bracelet. Thanks.
