are you buying or selling?
you could use the search function on ebay and go through the sold listings, it would give you a rough estimation.
also depends if you are looking for a -63, -64 or -65 caseback and condition it is in.

Thanks for your reply guys.

I have this case back Ed White 105.003-65 that was on my Speedmaster 145.022-1969 but when sent it for service, they told me that the case back should be replaced with one that is correct reference for my 145.022 watch case. So, they replaced the back case with a after service back case 145.0022 and now I have this case back and I am willing to sell. But I really don’t know the price. Checked on ebay but could not find anything recent. I found one that it was for sale a while ago and it was £2300 if I remember correctly.
I don’t know how the 105.003 case back got to my watch as the person I bought the watch from, said that he never had it serviced since new because he never wanted to pay the £600 full service estimated once for him.
This is what the case back looks like…
I belive the case back is still in very good condition.
Thanks again in advance for your help!

Emil

I suppose it could be a trick of the light, but from what I see, your midcase has serious issues.

Can you post another shot with different lighting? The lugs look unbalanced.

Your case back is not bad, but I can't see it getting a fortune - the competitive sport purchasing of speedmaster parts has passed for the moment. (Thank goodness).

The best way to sell is going to be Ebay. Maximum exposure to those who might need it. But you will need two people to need it. If they do, then maybe it can go for top money. My advice is don't be greedy - put it on for .99 start and let the market decide.

Just another log on the fire: The case back you now have is a modern, incorrect service replacement. I would keep the 105003 case back over a modern part.

Hello,
Thank you for your advise! I am not intrested to sell the midcase. It was all about the case back.
I might consider your advise not to sell the case back and or I can exchange that, to a genuine case back 145.022-69.
This are the references from the actual Omega invoice of a midcase and case back that they replaced…
I’ll send you pictures of them midcase and case back references from Omega and a picture of my actual service replacement case back and the watch.

Regards,

Emil
