Hi All, Today I'm offering a rather lovely version of the 3572.50 Speedmaster Pro for sale. This particular Speedy is quite interesting. According to Moonwatch only, it shouldn’t exist.... Inside is the Cal 863 which is gold coloured, not the rhodium 1863 that MWO says this model has. It’s serial is also just before the range for the 3572.50 listing in MWO as well. Yet, the swing tag tells another story! The 3572.50 has a Hesalite front crystal and sapphire display back. Inside is the highly decorated Cal 863 with gilt (gold) plating. Of major interest is the tritium dial and handset fitted to early versions of these, mine has aged to a beautiful even colour and I can only assume will continue to age well. The dial and hands are near perfect, only the minute hand exhibits some cracking of the lume. This Speedmaster has had a complete overhaul - performed by me, in my Omega audited and soon to be fully certified workshop. I have serviced the movement and replaced the mainspring, clutch wheel, winding pinion and fourth wheel. The case has been fully overhauled with new pushers and crown plus a full refinish to the original specs. The crystal is original and simply polished and I have aligned the Omega symbol properly. All seals were changed. It is water resistant to the factory 30m rating and a printout of the test will be included. ALL replaced parts are included in a little bag along with the watch. There are also two spare links. This Speedmaster is from the vintage where the 1499 bracelet was commonly fitted and this I believe is full length once the spare links are included. The nicest thing about these bracelets is that they taper towards the clasp and so look much better on the wrist IMO. In summary, this is a fully overhauled and serviced Speedmaster that operates perfectly and has a beautiful patina.
