··Double D @ ΩFI have for sale a nice CK2998-6 from 62/63. An extract has been applied for but it came back as one of the serials then were never recorded.
Trade wise I am open to Rolex and Omega Speedys only please plus cash my way.

Speedys - Any moonwatch especially the Apollo Mission LE's
Brand and Model: Omega Speedmaster Pre-Professional Pre-Moon
Reference: CK2998-6
Case: Stainless steel straight lug - polished and shows wear. There is also a slight mark on one of the lugs but its nothing serious like a major ding.
Bezel: Black aluminium DON which shows a little wear.
Bracelet: Omega 7912 with number 6 ends - Some extra links have been installed to fit a bigger wrist these will also be included.
Dial: Tall markers with low SWISS MADE, applied logo. The lume has turned a lovely pumpkin colour.
Hands: Not original to the watch - Hour hand displays square lume instead of triangular. I think they are 2998-1 hands as they glow exactly the same as the dial in terms of luminosity and duration and after studying MWO and several articles. The sub dial hands also show a little bit of paint missing.
Crown & Pushers: These have also been changed in the past. The crown is the B2 32 teeth from the 60s
Crystal: Omega plexi but has been changed in the past.
Movement: Omega cal 321 with 18645xx serial
Case Back: Double bevel with 2998-6 stamped in the reverse. Hippocampus is clear.
Included with watch:
Omega box both inner and outer
Blank papers - Possibly for the watch
price tag - Unsure if is for the actual watch
Card pouch
Condition:
The watch shows minor scratches consistent with use over the years, the movement is running strong and is in excellent condition. The chronograph is running is it should and resets perfectly.
