·For sale is an Omega Speedmaster “First Omega In Space” (FOIS) numbered edition (reference 311.32.40.30.01.001).
Complete with box and papers, this anniversary series watch features a 39.7mm stainless steel case, individually numbered case back, bold varnished black dial with a small seconds dial, a 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, along with a central chronograph hand and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is powered by OMEGA's famous manual-winding movement worn on the moon, the caliber 1861.
The sale includes:
The watch comes on the original brown calf strap. The watch is in overall very good condition with some surface scratches and scuffs from normal wear. The strap shows some wear, but has plenty of life left. The watch is functioning as it should – chronograph starts, stops, and resets as it should and it is currently keeping good time.
Please excuse the dust specs and some filth on the watch. I should have cleaned it a little bit before photographing 😀
Serials are blurred for privacy. Serials on the cards, hang tag, back of the watch, and movement all match.
Now discontinued, the retail was $5,300 USD + tax.
Asking a very reasonable $4,250 shipped via wire for a quick sale. No trades at this time, please.
Thanks for looking!
