i sold that in the 90`s without the bezel.......remember it well because of the "hole/punch" at the 4 o`clock lug. we thought it was the portuguese customs stamp at the time. had a few railmasters and rancheros with the same punch in at one lug. but back to the speedy: i`d like very detailed close ups from this bezel now. this here is a good dealer; we used to trade a lot at the munich watchfairs over the years. kind regards./ achim

Most probably the punch is an import mark.

Here's a Portuguese steel stamp on a vintage Omega i own:

Here's another IWC from the internet:

Here's another Sub from the internet:

And maybe the most interesting would be this 2998 from the internet:

The Portuguese steel stamp punch is usually seen at 10:00 lug but i've seen at least a couple, besides the Speedmaster in question, punched at 4:00 lug too.

Attached to the watch in question we can see an extract from the archives. However, i cannot see any Omega header or date and signature to the document.
Now, the question is: if that's a Portugal import mark, and if the watch is correct, why the extract say it was delivered to Italy ?
