I want to change up the collection a bit and while I love this watch it doesn’t get much time on the wrist so I think the time has come to pass it along to another OF member.
The basics:
Condition:
-Really clean. Just a few minor swirls and light signs of wear, no dents or significant scratches.
$6000 plus postage TBD by location. Watch is located in California USA. I prefer to keep to domestic sales but will work with known members in EU countries or Canada. No returns unless not as stated, please ask questions no matter how trivial they may seem, I’ll answer quickly and as accurate as possible.

As some of you know I like mods and put them together with intent and purpose. I love how this one came out; from the top it’s a perfect Mitsu but there is zero chance someone in the future will be tricked into thinking it’s the real deal. Display back and 861 movement are not correct but it looks fantastic and wears well. The copper 861 is warm and inviting, looks better than the pictures IMO.

- Mitsukoshi Mod using 100% genuine Omega parts.
- Watch, bracelet and extra links only, no box/papers or extra parts, just what is seen in the photos.
- Put together in 2022 by Omega certified watchmaker with full parts account, movement serviced at the same time
- New fresh from pack Mitsukoshi dial and hands
- 861 movement from a MKII Speedmaster, full service given
- NOS 3572.50 display back case, Hesalite sandwich with correct B5 style 1 bezel
- Full length 1998/840 bracelet currently sized for a 7” wrist but all links included as pictured.
Condition:

- 2022 serviced movement runs great, keeps accurate time and is really a beauty
- Bracelet has a couple of desk dive scuffs on the clasp
- only “issue” to point out is the chrono hand is one tick off of dead center. No chrono creep, resets with a great snap but centered one tick off. Not one second, one tick, at many angles it looks right on, but ocd will notice. Quick fix if needed, it just didn’t bother me enough to send it back out of state for adjustment.
- Note: caseback has a clear protective sticker, you will see the faint red line from the sticker in some photos, it’s not on the movement, just the sticker
