Let’s start the week with two funky Speedys, Schumacher style :)

Today I’m sharing two of the three versions from the Legend Collection. Launched in mid 2000’s the Michael Schumacher “The Legend” Collection comprised of three Speedy’s in recognition of Schumacher’s 2004/2005 season and his multiple world championship titles.

3506.31.00 - White/Cream dial, silver/black subdials.
3506.61.00 - Red Dial, black subdials.

Watches are cased in the typical 42mm Speedmaster case with the 3301 Chronometer, pre-coaxial movement.
This watch has multiple great features such as being a column wheel chronograph and it’s 100m water resistant.

Bit surprising is that the 3506.61.00 had a short cameo in a James Bond movie! ::popcorn::
The red dial/black subdial being the one worn in the movie Casino Royale (2006).

Lovely watches that stands out with their color combinations compared to the timeless, subtle design of the black Speedy Pros. Excellent timekeepers and great fit in my collection.

They are not bad :)
I already have a 3520.53.00 MK40 Schumi that I love.

Those are both really stunning! When I look at the cream dial version on Chrono24, I see some where the hands are silvery and very hard to read at a glance. Others look like black hands and much easier to read. Did these really come with two different color hands, or is it a quirk of the photography?

Silver hands, but turn black in certain angles.
