Hello, i'm new to this forum and to the world of Omega, so i'm not entirely sure where to turn: I've had my eyes set on a Mark V for quite some time, however, i'm really struggling with finding resources when attempting to research the variants available on the market in order to minimise the potential of buying an altered or customised watch—for example, i've seen a couple Mark V's with plain bezels yet haven't found any information about them being produced. I would be incredibly grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much, i'll make sure to read everything. It seems unknown variations are probably best avoided, though.

On a different note, Maddox seems to have been the sort of collector and communicator who could deepen our bond with these mechanical little marvels—i will thoroughly enjoy diving into his articles. RIP indeed.
