Would like opinions please on this speedmaster. Is it genuine and original? OMEGA SPEEDMASTER MARK IV VINTAGE PRE OWNED IN GOOD CONDITION MOVEMENT CAL 1040 ALL ORIGINAL WITH BRACELET
Hard to tel about the case and how much work if any was done to it but overall to my no trained eyes it looks rather good. Needs a new seal around the crystal and a new crystal but that is reasonable price wise and prob a service as well. The lume seems consistently aged accros the hands and dial too which is nice . Looks genuine to me. Original dial and hands, but hard to tell about the case condition from the photos. The sunburst finish can be a scratch magnet, and poor refinishing is sometimes a problem. Crystal is mineral glass not hesalite, so if it’s scratched it needs to be replaced not Polywatched. Somewhat unusual bracelet - most come with the 1162. This one looks really good! Mine says hi
Um, that is a put together watch. The movement and dial are for a 176.009 cal. 1040, and the caseback and mid case are for the cal. 1045 176.0015....
Do you guys know how much Mark IV generally worth or sell for by dealers, or at auction? Thanks, looking into getting one myself
