Up for sale is my reference ST176.002.

It has a replacement rotor with a serial of R10524 - So not sure of exact date/year of manufacture, but the pre professional dial makes this one of the earlier ones so approximately 1971/1972.

It's been fully refurbished by STS - which included refinishing the case, a full service, new crown, new pushers, and new crystal.

The hands are genuine omega service replacement tritium - it is believed that these were replaced at an STS service back in the early 1990's (paperwork available for this), and is not uncommon, as the needle tip minute hand is a little fragile, and has not been available for many years.

It is under warranty until 17/02/2018.

Selling to fund future purchases.

Asking £1850 net to me - including RMSD insured postage within the UK.

Please take a look at the pictures, happy to answer any questions.

Face to Face viewing available in central London (EC2V) Monday-Friday.

International buyers: please note that you will bear responsibility for any customs or import duties, payment/offers will need to be in GBP, I will cover the first £10 of shipping costs.

And now back for sale.

Apparently the person who pressed buy it now on eBay, "thought it was a Rolex".

Sigh.

As my girlfriend's grandmother once commented (it was about a vandalised tree, but applies well here) :

"They ought to whipped in the town square!"

Just buggers things about a bit - I've relisted it, and promptly got questions from the 5 people who were watching the old listing, asking what's going on.

I've taken this as an opportunity to ask them flat out if they're interested, or window shopping. 😉

Every cloud.

Updated with lots of lovely, well lit, high resolution, un-edited photos...

If you'd done that to begin with, some poor soul probably wouldn't have mistaken it for a Rolex... Better late than never 😉

You say that... but given some of the Arsehattery I've encountered on eBay in the last week, I'm not so sure. 😉
