Hi there all vintage Omega enthusiasts! I'm new here, have three vintage Omegas inherited and now bought one, an early 70s Speedmaster Mark II with a rare gold-plated finish. The watch is heavily worn but the chrystal and dial are in mint condition. It seems that the originals had a burgundy bezel but this one has a black one. The caliber keeps good time. I was looking for a cal 861 Speedmaster for years, now I'm getting familiar with this one. I payed some money for it, but a lot less that what they usually are. This is mostly because of the worn out looks, though. At least I can wear it without being too careful. I've been considering some work on the case, luckily enough it hasn't been polished or anything.

Are there any other gold-plated Mark II owners? Show me yours! Here's mine:

Yes this should have the crystal with the burgundy printing on the inside - those are still available (as are the black versions) so it could be changed at next service if you wish.
