Honoring OMEGA’s legacy of space exploration, this Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm case in polished-brushed grey ceramic with a plasma treatment. The brushed bezel is also made from grey ceramic and features a laser-engraved tachymeter scale that is filled with white Super-LumiNova.
The specially decorated movement is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3869, while the engravings on the caseback include the quote, THE MOON IS ESSENTIALLY GREY, which is attributed to Command Module Pilot, Jim Lovell, during the Apollo 8 mission.
The watch is worn on a grey rubber strap with a moon surface pattern on the underside, a ceramic foldover clasp and ceramised titanium frame-spring folders.
