I have been posting some infos about the LCD Speedmasters some weeks ago, including this rare prototype watch made for NASA Shuttle pilots back in 1979.

This is the third watch from that batch (the second non-numbered) I have been able to find and this time I am offering it for sale.

The Prototype is in an exceptional conservation condition.

Some additional Infos about what makes that prototype different from the standard production model :

    - unique dial, lighter than the standard production model, no ‘light’ word on it
    - unique caseback engraved 1621 (calibre 1621, prototype only) inside
    - the case is thicker to host the thicker cal 1621 (because of the beta light)
    - the pushers are wider than the standard production model

You can spot the differences yourself on the photographs above. Nothing is common to another watch, hence the 20 were really part of a prototype batch, nothing to do with the regular 186.0004 LCD Speedy.

Asking 12500 CHF (Swiss Francs) bank wire. Located in Switzerland, a face to face deal strongly preferred but we can always talk about other options. Drop me a PM.

Thanks to OF for the space.
