Hi all I have been looking at a Omega speed master 145.022 -71. The dial lume is slightly different than the lume from the hands, i was given the explanation by the seller that the dial and hands were made by seperate manufactures hence the slight color difference. I was wondering if this is accurate? Pictures below for reference.

Looks fine to me. I'm more suspicious of dials and hands that match perfectly.

Could be legit, but the mismatched lume isn't super attractive to me. A significant part of the value will be in the bracelet, so you want to make sure it's completely correct.

For those of us that have been interested in Speedmasters for several years it sounds high for a DNN -69.

But if the bracelet is correct and fully linked with end links it's probably worth 1.5k (possibly 2k), which leaves the head at $4.5-5k which is top end-ish but realistic for a dealer. It'd be nicer if it had a documented service.

 

6.5 sounds very high in my opinion. I think if you wait around you can find something better on the forum.

Price is too high in my opinion. The lume loss on the minute hand would be a turn off for me, as well as the greenish lume colour. Would definately wait for a better one.

 

@dantheman3u4i & @bjhove If you guys have a 145.022-71 in equivalent condition with a sharp unpolished case, step dial, flawless DNN bezel, and a full linked/0 stretch 1039/516 & an extract (that mentions that the watch left the factory with that bracelet) for less, I would love to buy it from you!

Or, please point me to equivalent/better examples at a lower price and I will buy those and pay you a finder’s fee!

It's hard to swallow but similar examples at a lower price point are now the exception rather than the rule. I think it would take considerable time and effort to get this watch much cheaper.
