ยท<SOLD - THANKS OF>
Dear OF,
I have this brand spanking new never worn CK2998 Blue Speedy for sale, ref 311.33.40.30.02.001(whoever came up with that nomenclature needs professional help, but we're off topic) - this is the 2016 LE released at Baselworld, 2998 pieces made, all sold out at the time of the show back then.
I had made a deposit to secure one for my dad's upcoming big-round-number birthday in 2017 as I knew he'd like the blue. In the end, my old man chose a blue Speedy Moonphase - purchased here on this very forum, fancier watch, more expensive too. Not quite sure what to do with the CK2998 then and a bit frustrated, I kept it until I could make up my mind. one and a half year after now, I have made up my mind last week as I'm chasing a Blue and Red Grail as some of you on this forum might know already, and that requires freeing up some funds ๐ตโ๐ซ
On to the watch itself now. I will shamelessly pillage The 'Dink and steal their description:

The CK2998 limited edition is inspired by the original 1959 Speedmaster ref. 2998, the archetype for the Speedmaster as most of us know it. [...] The watch we have here is 39.7mm across and 14.37mm thick, meaning it feels a little like a vintage watch right off the bat. The steel case has straight lugs (another throwback to the earliest Speedies, which didn't have the curved lugs yet). [...] The ceramic bezel (with luminous markings), subdials, minutes track, and strap are all matching blue, while the ground of the dial has a semi-iridescent silver finish.
It's a watch that works very well both in a dressy environment or a sports one! The Panda look is classic, the blue ceramic bezel with luminous engravings is totally awesome, and the straight lugs / symetric case makes it wear better for those like me who don't have WWF wrists.
It is coming as uber-full set, with all stickers still on the watch, with a warranty card from a French AD, stamped from Late November 2016, so you still have a few months of warranty left should anything happen - I'm struggling to see what but you never know. Everything is pristine and unworn. The only non-perfect item is the outer cardboard sleeve which somehow was scorned a bit, as well as the instruction/cards internal holder, also made of even thinner paper/cardboard, who was slightly torn away. The rest is totally immaculate. See pictures below.
And a crappy lume pic so you can see the bezel glowing... spooky! (not snoopy)
I would like 5200EUR for this one (ie $6000, but I want Euros please!), shipped to Western Europe (I can ship from France to help with import fees...) from Switzerland. If you are in other parts of the world, let's talk to make it happen ๐ If you are in the Lemanic ("Lake Geneva" for intruders ๐) area, then Iโd be glad to give you a discount, meet you in person, hand it over to you, and the beer is on me . I am primarily looking for cash, no trades at the moment please (unless you have a 1675 you're trying to get rid of... there, I said it.)
To note: there is ONE less expensive one on c24, but I believe it is NOT new and unworn... The next one starts at ca. 6.5K$, and you need to add shipping on top.
SALES TERMS (inspired by Spacefruit's)
I only sell to bring some new pieces (actually, one big one...) to my collection. I am not motivated by profit and so I have no reason to embellish or over describe, but I am not bothered by an uplift. I have bought (a lot) and sold (a fewโฆ and one trade too!) watches on omegaforums, and you can find my feedback by searching my username. I have met a few omegaforums members in person in the Lemanic area and I hope I made a good impression to them. Some of them have actually become friends, I believe they could vouch for me if needed. I am not a watch dealer, I make my money elsewhere, watches are my pleasure, but Iโm not a philanthropist either. I am not in the least offended by offers, as long as you aren't desperately lowballing me.
Returns:
I have done my best to provide as much info as I could. I will not take returns for this watch unless you consider it is grossly misrepresented or fake (it is neither), and you are willing to have a discussion about it all, openly, on omegaforums, i.e. not by PM but into the limelight, as I value my fellow OF members opinions. I am opinionated, but not stubborn ๐
Payment:
Payment by Bank Transfer only. Paypal are a bunch of thieves. I am asking for a "net to me" amount not because I can't man up, but because depending on where the thing ships to and where payment is made from, the extras to handle this all can amount to a chunky amount of cash. And cash is king. And I'm a royalist.
Thank you OF for the space! ๐
Paul
