·For sale is a genuine Omega Speedmaster Chronograph TinTin aka Destination Moon - Racing Edition (reference 311.30.42.30.01.004).
This is a genuine TinTin. By now the story and extreme collectability of this long discontinued reference is well known and the secret is out. It has been widely accepted that there was an estimated production of only approximately 1,500 pieces with some pretty neat history. And as a result, these have been skyrocketing in value.
This sale (complete set) includes:
- outer white box
- inner wooden luxury omega box
- instruction manual
- warranty card with matching serial
- pictogram card with matching serial
- hang tag with matching serial
- watch with full links
Condition:
Overall condition is very good with some normal and regular wear throughout (approximately 85%-90%+ condition). There are some light scuffs and scratches on the hesalite visible in direct light and some light scratches on the watch including strap changing marks. A light polish and some polywatch should get almost all of this out if and when desired. The watch remains unpolished in its current condition. The bezel, case, and bracelet are free of dings or dents. This would make for an amazing daily wearer. It appears to be keeping good time. Chronograph starts, stops, and resets to zero.
Asking price is $14,450 shipped via wire. Will consider various trade offers (please let me know what you have and approximate value). I am not looking for anything specific.
