    Hi All,

I'd like to ask you about your advice on the below Speedmaster, allegedly a 145.012 from '67, with cal. 321:
    http://www.chrono24.com/en/omega/speedmastercal-321--id4245218.htm

So, my question to you would be: how 'franken' is it? I am looking for a daily wearer, I'm happy to make compromises when it comes to bezel authenticity etc., but I'd like to ask for your professional (no pun intended) opinion on the said item.

My assessment based on the 3 photos available (I've tried to contact the seller, but no success):
    - 'T Swiss Made T' --> Ts are missing, so dial might be wrong (potential deal-breaker)
    - bracelet is obviously wrong (I'd be ok with that)
    - bezel is not DON (I'd be ok with that)
    - the fact that case back and movement are not visible makes me more than suspicious

    I'd appreciate your feedback.
    Thanks in advance.

    - Service dial.
    - Service hands (possibly wrong chrono hand depending on year)
    - Wrong/later bezel
    - Wrong pushers
    - Maybe wrong crown?
    - Wrong bracelet

From a quick glance, the dial is incorrect, no step, and as you noted no T's, and the fact the seller isn't responding.....no need to do anything else. You need the serial, the case back and the movement shots

Trust your instincts, your better off to spend that money on a correct one from the 70s.

    Keep looking

    Dial and hands service replacement
    Bezel service replacement
    Bracelet should be 1039/1035
    Crown appears not original
Case well polished and limited definition of the lyre lugs

keep an eye on the FS section here. good speedies come up quite often at reasonable prices (given the market).
