·Hi All,
Now on hold pending funds.
Thanks to all that enquired.
Here for your consideration is my Speedmaster Apollo XI 'numbered' second edition ref. 345.0808 with display back.
These are quite rare Speedmasters being a second numbered limited edition of 1000 available worldwide.
These followed the 1st edition (also of 1000), which were only available in Germany and Austria.
1st edition 1985/1986 and second edition 1987 to 1990.
This watch has the yellow plated 863 movement with the correct 48,251,xxx serial number dating it to circa 1988/1989. Special Edition number A0833.
It comes on the also very rare 1450 bracelet with 808 endlinks.
The watch is in good overall condition for a watch over 30 years old.
It's clearly not been a safe queen, however the minor blemishes do not detract from the watch on the wrist and could easily be polished out - but I prefer originality over refurb.
Please note that the dial is perfect, please forgive the few specs of dust and minor scuffs on the plexi.
All functions operate correctly, the watch winds and sets properly and the chrono functions are all good.
Although not serviced in my ownership the watch keeps good time with great power reserve.
Please check out the pictures as they represent the major part of the description.
I originally listed this watch some time ago at UK £6250, I had some interest but nothing materialised.
I've now reduced the price to UK £5250 for this rarely available watch, including worldwide shipping and insurance.
Payment by bank transfer or Paypal F&F.
I'm based in the UK.
Please PM me for further info and images.
Thanks for looking and to OF for the facility.
