Used Omega 98000010 alligator leather strap (20mm) and SS Omega deployment. Curved ends. The strap was discontinued a while back but cost over $400 new, and the deployment was around $300 new I think?

When these straps are new they are quite stiff and flat and the ends do not settle well with the watch case, but this one is completely broken in to a round shape, and the leather has darkened nicely to a very rich color, which I prefer over the new look, which is lighter.

There is a bit of a stress fracture in the joint of the natural leather on the first seam above the deployment, which causes a little bit of wiggle/play in the structure of the leather, but it has not separated, and it's stitched together with the full backing, so I don't believe it can come apart, but just wanted to mention so there are no surprises. It came this way to me and I've used it for many years without it getting worse or being a problem.
