What a beautiful timepiece!! Something about the combo of rose (?red) gold with the black dial just does it for me!! Looks like I need to start up a "57 Fund!

I tried one of these (not the bi-metal) recently. Despite my expectations, it just didn't look right & definitely not as good as the FOIS.

It has great & historical design elements so I'm not sure why it didn't seem to work on my wrist. It might be the positioning of the sub-dials that doesn't feel right to me. It is a bit bigger that the FOIS and the vintage sizes and that may have something to do with it too.

I agree reed with you. I tried one on too and there was something that just did not fit right.

Could be the contrast, the FOIS seems so perfect, it negates alternatives? ;)

No, I didn't even try the Fois on. It's the two subdials that don't look right I think.
