FS: Omega Speedmaster Moon watch

Ref: 3590.50
Condition: 93%+
Price: $1975

Up for sale is my Omega Speedmaster Moon watch, reference 3590.50. I am the original owner and it was puchased by me from an authorized dealer in September of 1997. The 3590.50 was manufactured from 1989-1996. The movemet number is 4835284X. The watch was worn regularly for a few years and then saw many years of no wrist time at all. I have recently aquired two 1968 Speedmasters that are getting all the wrist time now. I can't justify having a 3rd additional Speedmaster sitting on the table.

The watch has some very small nicks on the bezel that are not really noticable to the naked eye but can be felt slightly as you run your finger around the edge. They are so small I can't really capture a picture of them. The rest of the case has been refinished with just a few small scrathes on the underside of the lugs from the ocasional strap change. I would rate the watch in 92+ condition.

The watch was fully serviced in December of 2012 by Nesbit's Fine Watch Service in Seattle. They are a prior Omega service provider. The service inluded a full movement service and case and bracelet refinishing, including new pushers, crown, crystal, and gaskets. All the retuned parts will be included with the watch head. A receipt for service will be included as well. The total service cost was $685. While Nesbit's extends a 30 month warranty on all their Omega service the warranty is not transferable. I have adjusted the receipt to remove the warranty information. I do believe extending the warranty after service does say something about the quality of their work and the use of genuine Omega parts.

The watch is powered by a manual wind 861 movement which is accurate within COSC standards. Chronograph features work properly and reset to 12 as they should. This a very sought after watch. Original operation manual, service center book, and warranty card included. No box.

Case: stainless steel / diameter 42mm, thickness: 14mm
Movement: cal 861 manual wind. Full wind 51hr reserve as of 1/9/2013
Bracelet: 1499/842
Crystal: Hesalite

I'm asking for $1975 paid via PayPal. Price includes PP fees and shipping in the USA with tracking to be provided.

If interested, have any questions or want additional pictures, please contact me via PM.
