This is a Speedmaster I wasn't planning on selling, but with a potential grail purchase coming up, I'm freeing up funds. I've also listed a rare 345.0808 Speedmaster, whichever sells first, sells. The other probably stays. 😀

For sale is a very nice condition Omega Speedmaster 3590.50 (145.022) dating back to approximately 1993. This watch has very rarely been worn, as is plain to see from the remaining wax residues on the back of the watch, the near pristine bracelet and the very minor wear marks throughout.

Please find an assessment of the watch below. I have attempted to be as brutally honest as can be. Also note that I am not the first owner of this watch. Hence I cannot guarantee originality of parts, although after having handled dozens of 80s and 90s Speedmasters, I like to think I know what I am looking at...

Dial: The original dial with all lume plots perfectly in tact. The lume has aged to a very attractive, yellow shade and has lost most of its luminous qualities as one would expect of a ±30 yrs old piece. Dial body colour is anthracite. The printing is perfectly okay too. A highlight of this watch.

Hands: Original Tritium hand set and probably one of its few minor flaws; the lume is a little spotty in place. Absolutely invisible on the wrist, but of course discernible in the pictures below.

Case: Sharp. Very sharp. It looks unmolested and only shows some light signs of wear. Some hairline scratches but overall in very good condition. Caseback is in perfect order and even carriers some bits of the blue wax seal that protected the case when delivered new from the factory. The red seal on the caseback is also there. Note that the plexiglass does not have an Omega logo, which apparently happened more often in the late 80s and early 90s. The profile is exactly similar to other Omega-signed plexis so I believe it is original.

Bezel: Original bezel in very good condition. A very tiny dent between 85 and 90 is probably the biggest wear mark on the entire watch, but still really minor.

Movement and Serial: A trusty 861 manual wound movement which is running well. I have not inspected the movement as opening the watch means breaking the wax seal, which I'll leave to a next owner to consider. I suspect the watch hasn't been serviced and would therefore need one before daily use.
Needless to say, it runs and winds smoothly with all functions working properly.

Bracelet: If you want to see what a new 1479 /812 bracelet looks and feels like, here's your chance. It doesn't get any sharper than this. Only exception is the clasp cover, which has been rebrushed lightly. Even that clasp cover, however, is showing how little wear this watch has had as the black enamel in the Speedmaster script is still there. Rarely seen.

Package: Watch only. If it would have come with papers, that would have completed the safe queen nature of this piece.

Shipped worldwide at buyers expense, although I would strongly prefer a F2F deal in the Netherlands given the value of this piece and the added benefit of meeting a fellow OF-member in person.

No returns, please ask questions and extra pictures in advance. I am not making a habit out of selling, but I do have quite some - exclusively positive - references as a seller and buyer on this forum and could share more.

Reference contacts and LinkedIn profile available upon request.

Price: EUR 4250 (net to me, excluding shipping)

And zooming in on the sharp lines of this case:

Note the remnants of wax on the back (blue around the medallion, red on the transition between case back and case band.
