·Dear ΩF
For your consideration is one I am likely going to regret : my beautiful Omega Speedmaster Transitional 3570.50.
It comes with its original bracelet, and was serviced almost 2 years ago.
But thats not to say it doesn't look great on other straps/bracelets...
How can one let such a beauty in used but untouched condition go? It simply is not getting enough wrist time ...
Transitional
It is well know that in the transition from 3590.50 (Tritium, cal.861) to 3570.50 (Superluminova, cal.1861) that there were some crossover of parts between the two references. This happens to be the case on this one. It has the designation, caseback/pic number, bracelet of the 3570.50's, but with a Tritium dial and handset (instead of a Superluminova dial and handset), and a 18jewel caliber 861 movement instead of a caliber 1861. As such it has one of the newest 861's around, and its quirky, having one extra jewel to all the other 861's that were made for about 30 years prior. This apparently happened for about a year. I am certain Archer can explain why this extra jewel is totally unnecessary.
As per Moonwatch Only:
As mentioned, it has been serviced, and is still under warranty until Jan 2023 (I tried a watchmaker of a friend, and he gave me a receipt...my regular does not do this (which I don't mind)).
Lets take a better look at the watch. I apologize in advance for some of the pics. Some are not properly focused, and this autumn light leaves much to be desired. I did take some pics a few years ago, under stronger early summer light, so those I will attach too. They also show how different the same watch can look under different light.
Dial hands and case
The dial is superb and original tritium with a toffee/caramel color. The original hands are a slightly lighter color and also in great condition, no paint chipping.
The plexi could do with a proper polish. It did not get one at service. The bezel is also in fine condition, no chips or dings.
The case is factory original and shows signs of wear, but nothing excessive. Just enough wear to not be self-conscious about. Please see the 'other' set of pictures. I wore this watch sparingly post service, so I did not add any wear to the case or bracelet.
Crown and pushers too are original. There is still a bit of cheese left behind. Not from me.
A small ding on the bottom right lug barely visible.
The case is how I like them : fabulous.
I actually prefer this bracelet to the successor...because it tapers. It is very comfortable, and fits my 7.2inch wrist perfectly. I do not recall if I had to remove links (it was some time ago) ... I will include them if I did. I know where they will be. This bracelet will fit 95% of folks at this links (and I guess a lot of those may need to remove a link or two).
Caseback is in fine condition.
Here are some open caseback shots I took prior to service.
And here is a movement shot prior to service. Its in fantastic condition. A very clean 18j 861...
Other shots
I actually prefer these shots which are a few years old. They reflect the true condition of this watch equally to as it is today, but recent pics are required for sales threads (and rightly so) so they are considered extras.
Sale terms and conditions.
4250 CHF (USD / EURO / GBP equivalent) wired directly to my bank (Wise (ex Transferwise)) account. Bank-wire will be local to you, so no stress there. More currencies are available upon request. My price includes shipping to wherever you are in the world. EU postage can be arranged.
No trades thanks.
The watch and I are in Switzerland, and so F2F could happen here. Returns are accepted only if grossly misrepresented. You will get what you see in these pictures which are of a decent quality and high resolution, so I don't believe there is any chance of misrepresentation. Feel free to request any further angles etc.

All criticisms of the watch are welcome.
Thanks ΩF for this space
PS: I leave for holidays today, so if I don't reply promptly, please be patient.
