    Hi,
I have a 48.3 million serial number Omega Speedmaster dating to 1996 I was wondering what model number it would be as I have no box or papers and haven't sent away for an extract of the archives. It could either be a 3590.50 or a 3570.50. Can any of the members please help me out on this. I have posted a couple of pictures of the watch and inside case back.
    Cheers Russell.

    Hi Russell,
I believe the yours is a 3570.50 as it is rhodium plated and has 18 jewels. I own a 3950.50 and it has a non coated movement with 17 jewels...can't remember off the top of my head where the extra jewel goes but I sure someone will chime in.

    Hi,
Many thanks for that. The 18 jewels could be the give away now you have pointed that out to me.

According to MWO, your movement number 48.328.xxx falls within the 3590.50 range. 3570.50 starts at 48.339.xxx

Your calibre is yellow is it not? That being the case, as the 3590.50 and 3570.50 both included yellow 18 jewel calibres, the calibre itself would not determine which of the models yours is.
