For posterity; the watch in question was passed. The opening bid of 40k EUR excluding premiums was too big a burden, apparently.

I don't find it particularly shocking; we're talking between 25,000 and 35,000 for a much less rare yellow gold example. That's also the problem with auctions: people need to have the information, register, and reach the necessary bidding limit. It's all quite tedious, so apart from major themed sales, it's not necessarily a better solution than CH24 in terms of visibility.

To avoid any doubt here, we’re actually talking about an 80s white gold example. On bracelet. There’s probably only a few dozen of these made (as per MWO), so it’s rare as hens teeth.
