·Edit: Tried on a Speedy pro and definitely would like one. So I am willing to let this one go. I'll go ahead and leave my post untouched, except I'll change my price slightly. $3000 OBRO via bank wire to the US.
Hello all, this will be a catch and release for me if I do decide to let it go, as I literally bought it Sunday 4/6. I sold off a few watches in order to obtain a speedy with a date (a function I prefer in watches), and was very pleased with the look of the watch, as well as the 40mm size. However, I was disappointed to find that the lug width was 19mm, making strap buying much harder, and having no NATOs made to fit it. That is my only complaint and the only reason I'm toying with the idea of selling it and just buying a Speedy Pro.
The watch itself was purchased in 2010 by an 80-something year old collector (who had watches upwards of 25+ years in brand-new-with-stickers condition), and then purchased a few months ago by the man I bought it from. He purchased it unworn with stickers still on, but removed them and wore the watch. But it is in really great condition.
Domed Sapphire crystal is flawless, Chronograph works perfectly. No major dings/dents/scrapes anywhere, though minor swirlies periodically. The clasp has a minor desk diving mark that cannot be felt with the finger, and could easily be polished off if you so desired. Pics show the condition. you can see on the second to last picture that the red dot is still in tact.
Comes with extra links, inner/outer box, manual, and all cards (with matching serial number of course), and even the hang tag. $3000 (OBRO) via bank wire, shipped to US only. I'm not terribly interested in trades, but hate to exclude any possibilities. You can message me here or email me at [email protected]
