And here is one of the best straight lug Omega Speedmasters from the early 1960`s, you will find for a reasonable price. 2998-3 from 1961. used, but not abused. case without dents. very clean small size original pushers and Flat Foot Crown with a new seal. nearly spotless crystal with the wide chrome pressure ring. DON bezel; slightly rubbed and with one crack at 3 o`clock. secured; will not damage further. good dial with minor aging and some light paint loss around the step in the dial. we added a few pictures in Bright Australian Sunlight; the Dial turns Brown now. a few darker spots remain. looks quite stunning. depends on the Light Angle. the top Protective Lacquer seems intact. the Bezel Insert looks like charcoal Grey now ....... long steel alpha hands, slightly curved. as it should be . lost their shine and a few minor spots on the hands. some paint loss on the running second, counter and center second hand. these hands look like service hands; they are a bit shorter than they should. shape seems ok, but lengths is not. correct case back and inner movement cover in perfect condition. this watch has not seen moisture . the caliber 321 movement was just serviced by our Omega watchmaker and no part was replaced. it is truly as beautiful, as it left the factory. the screw heads are hardly touched at all. all plates are shiny red gold. might be the best one, i`ve seen . and we had many..... keeps perfect time and has a 6 months mechanical warranty ( pls. ask for exeptions) . everything works as designed. head only. Our listing is in US$ , so convert to your currency. these would normally go to one of the big auction houses in switzerland and you would fork out another 25% in buyers fees..... so, here is your chance. hard to find. excellent condition. contact us for more information. Payment in US$, A$ or Euros fine. and we ship in a way, that you do not have to pay EU fees ! Bid with confidence. we are trading vintage watches for over 28 years. and::shipment worldwide with courier EMS for minimal taxes and hasslefree EU customs is A$ 55 !!! ++++++++ registered airmail parcel worldwide starts at A$ 35. There are 4,5% buyers fees involved. We guarantee our watches. With bankwire there are no fees. asking: US$ 17,600.00 obo.

forgot something: ordered and paid the Omega Factory Excerpt from the Archives. money refunded and the Museum stated, that this Movement number was not in their Archives at all. quite common for the early references Speedmaster till 1962. the movement was made by Lemania for Omega and the Lemania Archive was not the best one. so, it is not in there. which is good news in one aspect, that it is not from an early Omega Seamaster Chrono, which used the same movement. will supply that Factory answer to the Buyer. This Speedy is listed from Today on 2 different Selling Platforms as well.

Many questions about the 6 months mechanical warranty after the full service:::::::: exceptions are: winding and setting section; balance and escape section ( don`t drop it....) and, of course, do NOT change any mechanical adjustments..... You do Not have to send it back to us for the Warranty. we will find a watchmaker of our choice in your country, who we will pay to rectify problems during that 6 months mechanical warranty. as we always do with serviced higher value watches......
