But seriously depends a lot on the condition - from $600-800 or so for a really beat up one to 2-3x higher for a really nice one and maybe 5x higher for a pristine one. But make sure also it's original and not one of those nicely done remakes out of Germany.
MSNWatch : thanks for the reply. I had doubts because a few months ago a collector bought one of those and pay for 7k. I thought it was a mistake.
Omega 2998 base 1000 bezel on Ebay $10k http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-O...1815244772?clk_rvr_id=906076829414&rmvSB=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's rare. But 10k? My offer was refused by the machine, and it was higher than I thought I should have paid
You know, if I was selling this for 10K, I might throw in the 40 bucks for shipping, just saying....to each their own. And for the record, I am not the seller!

That only works out at $10 per 1 bezel thingy.............I would say good value. I am going to atomise my 2998 and start selling it by the atom. Any bidders?
Is this the same seller who sells suspected newly manufactured steel base 1000 bezels claiming they are NOS?
I asked the seller. He responded that the bezel is from a 2915-3 from 1958. I further asked if his asking price included the watch.
But he throws in free shipping though.... Have some doubts about what tachymetre_base_1000 is selling. Looks too great to be a genuine 50 year old bezel IMHO.
