I have that quote tatooed on my lower back

"No meal without Arch spice..."

OF has met its match.

After 8 + years on OF first item
Maybe not last ....

Not unusual for a mostly formant account to ramp up posting to meet the 200 post threshold when they have something to sell.

Indeed.

I recently acquired a completely untouched 105.003-64 'Ed White' from a single family ownership and it has the "No nipple" hour subdial hand.
As this is a completely untouched specimen, it is safe to assume that this is how it came from the factory. I have seen others (105.003) in the past, but none were in such magnificent state of preservation and originality that it was anyone's guess if the part was installed the factory or at some later point/service.

As received:

Completely untouched movement:
(Those with a keen eye will notice the original springbar peeking through the end link slot...).

This watch deserves its own thread and shouldn't be lost in this one!

Good question, considering the OP was trying to sell his watches on several market platforms in Germany and Austria for a while. My guess the point of this thread is attention.

Also the OP was selling some 2998 Alpha hands 1 month ago and i contacted him to confirm the lengths. Instead of giving me the exact measurements he was stating that those are the "Omega genuine parts for 2998 #1/2/3 and not the Seamaster 321" hands. While in fact the hands did look shorter than they should in fotos.
After i confronted him with details, he never replied again...
So this begs the question, is he really trying to enrich the OF community with his nipple knowledge or does he have some other intentions..

(just an explanation to the picture above:
OP sent me the photo on the left of the hands he had for sale.
To my knowledgeThe correct length for Speedmaster hands is 14mm (minute) and 10mm (hour).
They should be basically the same length as the white Baton hands.
Seamaster hands are 12mm and 9mm long.

So i cut the hands from the photo above and put them next to each other on the right hand side. and my guess would be that those are shorter.
)

if i am wrong with my assumption then obviously i would apologize.
so what would be the guess of the OF comunity, are the hands genuine for 2998 #1/2/3?

The OP has provided the length for the hands in this thread. so i admit i had false doubts, but the comunication didnt make it easy. sorry!
