    Hi All,
Up for sale here is a recent Speedmaster build. This 69 Speedy movement (SN 305.....) was serviced by Omega I think about 18 months ago. During that service they did their typical trick of replacing all the old and cool parts with new stuff. Although they do return parts they did not make it to the dealer I received the watch from. Perhaps they ended up on ebay who knows.

I got the watch into my workshop a couple of weeks back and fitted an original C1 Medium S Step Dial and a B2 Dot Close to 70 - Narrow C bezel. These references are from MWO. Also fitted was a set of hands that have been relumed by me to match the tritium dial ( the paint I use is the same as what Omega was using back then just minus the actual tritium.). The movement had another service to be sure everything was good to go. It's one of the nicest 861's I've had through in a while.

The case is brand new as the new case Omega fitted at service had some marking to it. It has new pushers, crystal and crown and the case back is the pre moon style but with the 145.0012 reference which is the only type Omega will supply new.

The dial has a small mark near the centre hole on the side of the 30min subdial I think the dial is an excellent example though and wears it's mostly original lume well. I did retouch a couple of spots but I challenge you to figure out where! There are a couple of minor paint chips to the bezel and it has faded to a lovely grey.

This Speedy operates as well as any current model using the 1861 and timekeeping is excellent of course. Currently fitted is a brand new strap in a light tan colour made from the same leather as Hermes uses. It tapers from 20 to 16mm at the buckle. If you prefer the other lightly used strap with minimal stitching in the photos you can have that instead. That one is 20 -18mm at the buckle.

I will supply a service certificate with the watch giving its particulars and timing performance.

Price is $4500 USD and includes free express delivery and paypal fee's.

Please excuse the dust specs on the outside of the crystal.
