For sale is my Ed White from 1965. It is in great shape and came from a guy in Leicester who said it was bought for him by his father. I have the original receipt he gave me, although no Omega papers. It comes with the original box that he also gave me. The watch dates to 1965 with a 240666** serial number. The case is in great shape and to me looks untouched, the lugs are sharp and have a great shape to them. The bezel is correct and a nice dot over 90. The hands are correct and it has correct drop seconds hand. Case back is good with a nice hippocampus still visible. The crown was replaced in service but I will include the original that came with the watch. As mentioned the watch was fully serviced by Simon at STS on 11/03/2016. Papers will be include and still included remainder of the 12m warranty. I am really not sure how to price it so have gone for 'good' on Speedy101 and reduced from there. I am asking £9000 Bank Transfer or P.P gift, delivered by Fedex. I can insure the item to only £2500 so any balance will have to taken out by the buyer if needed. I am UK based and can meet F2F within a 25mile radius of Central London if easier. Sales are final..please use pictures and also ask as many questions as you want. I will include movement pictures and more photos tomorrow. Please email me with any questions and i will answer them asap. Thank you. (JB Champion is not included) The strap will come on a leather band/buckle. View attachment 326901
To the OP, You have a typo in the reference number of your subject line, you may want to edit/correct it to better get hits on searches.
A few of the more esteemed members have suggested better dial pictures...as it's such as nice dial. The light is still bad here so i have included one from a few months that really shows how nice it is. Also included are shots of the movement, STS paperwork and the box and paper receipt from 1968! Also the box it came in. All are included in the final sale. I hope these help.
Congrats to buyer and seller. It seems that it's not that often decent, honest straight lugs, unmolested by dealers become available anymore, so no surprise someone jumped on this.
