·For sale is an Omega Speedmaster 176.002 Mark 111. The movement was serviced in June 2023 by Simon Freese, and has the remainder of the 12 months mechanical warranty from that date.
These watches are not small, and often have dents and dings. The case on this Mk3 appears unpolished, with its original brush finish visible to the top and sides. There are some light surface wear marks to the case, commensurate with a 50 year old watch. The pushers and crown are original.
The dial is good, as are the hands. Original lume that has aged, with a vanilla patina on all plots. Dial is D3 professional.
Bracelet is original 1162 with 172 ends. Clasp is trapezoid. Currently sized to a wrist approx. 7.25-7.5 inch.
The 1040 is running well, and all functions start/stop/reset. The rotor has been changed at some point, and this is where the serial number on these was placed. The dial is 'professional', so I would assume this piece dates circa 1973-75.
As previously mentioned this Mark 111 is approx 50 years old, I therefore do not guarantee it will be waterproof.
