Two Listings going up today then I am absolutely done selling my children Up for grabs is this Speedmaster 145.022-69 in super attractive condition. Description: Dial/hands: Excellent step dial with original tritium that has aged to a lovely creamy colour, matching hands with clean unchipped white paint. Both Dial and hands glow when exposed to UV light, the minute hand looks to have been stabilised very neatly from the back but this may just be me being paranoid. Dust/flecks/marks are all on the crystal, dial surface appears flawless. Case: Razor sharp case body shows light wear, there is one unfortunate deep ding to the top of the right lug but is otherwise excellent – you will have to be careful not to cut yourself. Please note the blank gunk in the back of the case is from a partially removed melted gasket, it is free from corrosion. Case back is crisp with the original owners name engraved, circular graining is very clean, a couple of tiny spots of corrosion only. Minor marks from case openers, they are not deep and could be removed by the new owner. Bezel: Very clean DON bezel, couple of minor flecks off the top left edge only, (DON bezel is correct for this serial range). DON bezels in this condition can trade for £2.5k+ Bracelet: Correct and likely original 1039 bracelet with 516 end links, dated 69/4, 6 sprung links included but it should be noted it is rather short (factory spec is 10 links) so if you have a large wrist a few extras may be necessary. Bracelet/end links probably have a market value of £1300+ Movement: Winds, resets and ticks correctly, however the service history is unknown, it is cosmetically very clean with un-chewed screws and minimal marks, the plating is of good consistent colour. Serial is 29.1M I would recommend a service (especially a new caseback seal and crystal) before use and do not wish to guarantee timekeeping. Summary: Lovely example, it is the best one I have owned. I am certain the new owner will love it. I prefer to keep descriptions pretty basic and just sell off the pictures provided which I believe clearly illustrate the watches condition, these watches are now also well documented (www.speedmaster101.com) My Price: I am offering this watch for £7250 net to me via bank transfer; this includes shipping anywhere in the world (likely via Fedex). The watch is located in the UK and I could transact face-to-face in London with established members if requested. Returns: I have never had anyone ask for a return, I would consider it only if the watch is terribly misdescribed. I am not going to refund you if it gains 12 seconds in a day after 3 weeks.
Up I have four offers 6k+ Sticking at £7250 because of the parts value, please don't bother messaging with anything low - I don't want to waste your time or mine, thanks
