Without further ado, place for pictures : I have another 145.022-69 with a 31.622.xxx serial only about 200 later number which Omega Archives dated to August 16, 1971 according to the extract. Based on that, I think we can estimate the one for sale here produced during summer 1971 as well. However only a proper extract will confirm this. I can care of it for you at the current extra cost and deliver the watch with its own Extract of Omega Archives. The next part is plagiarized but updated for this sale. Delivery and Payment Shipping is to be discussed. Face to face in Switzerland preferred. I am driving all around the country for business, shouldn't be a problem to meet in your area. Payment by Bank Transfer after exchanging ID's for both sides security or cash if face to face. Terms I am constantly looking to adapt my collection to my wishes that change in time. I have bought and sold a few watches on OF and you can find my feedback by searching my username. References available on request, feel free to ping and ask. I do not like shipping as insurance is always a problem for watches above 5k and at a reasonable shipping cost. Therefore if the buyer understands and acknowledges the risks in a written way, I might consider undervaluing and under covering. Not at my own risk. Pictures are the best part of the description. Since I own the watch I'm selling, feel free to ask for special details or angles you want to see better, prior buying. I am a private collector and will set the post OHPF after getting the first PM saying "I will buy this watch now at your price". Then we can exchange ID's and bank details for wire payment as well as define how and when the watch will be handed over. Price is CHF 6200 (swiss francs) net to me - bank wire to my local bank. Please use a fx rate calculator to estimate the price in your local currency and make sure your bank allows you to wire in CHF, I don't want to deal with currency conversion differences and costs. Some FAQ: Why are you selling? Because this watch is redundant, my 4th 145.022-69 and there is no other particular reason to keep it. The funds will help to buy another wonderfull Moonwatch. Are you a Dealer? No. What would you say counts against this watch? Not much. Some scratches on the crystal that can easily be polished, some minor dings on the case, a fail scratch made on the case back by someone who didn't know how to proceed safely (see pictures). No service history known. What do you like about this watch? A perfect dial with perfect hands exactly as I love them and want all of my watches to be. The indexes are incredible and all the tritium glows like on day one after almost 50 years. A keeper. They don't pop up in this condition frequently. What parts do you know to be replaced? Nothing known to me. Maybe somebody will notice something - please let me know if so ! Are the box and papers original to the watch? No box or papers included. Head only. Will you take it back? Absolutely, and that's also why I prefer a face to face deal. With loupe, black light and all the required tools to show the details and make sure there's no surprise.
As stated above, a rather beautiful condition. Look at that Tritium - like on day one : Leave me with it another week and I will change my mind and keep it
So, you have your own time machine and rather than going back and buying first issue Microsoft stock, you decided to buy Speedies and keep them in a safe deposit box for 40 years? Fantastic condition!
Thank you @kkt - condition is key for any watch I ever bought. Those who have seen a part of my collection on a GTG or so can confirm, or have just confirmed above
