Up for grabs is this excellent example of a full set 145.022-69 Description: Box/papers: Watch comes with insurance receipt, guarantee with holder, chronograph booklet, another omega booklet, old omega envelope, inner/outer box (outer is a damaged). Numbers are correct and matching. 328XXXXX seems to be the last batch for these straight writing casebacks. Dial/hands: Clean dial with tritium markers that have aged a minty colour (this is a known trait of this reference), the hands have aged a lighter yellow tone, neither show signs of moisture damage. The white paint is un-chipped and crisp, not touched up. I cannot see any marks of defects on the dial. Both hands and dial glow consistently when exposed to UV light. Case: Twisted lug case is in excellent condition with some light marks/wear only - it is free from gauges and seemingly unpolished. The caseback is razor sharp, some light marks from a strap only, it is grained correctly and not refinished. No corrosion. Crown, pushers and plexi are original, the pusher tubes would benefit from a clean up and the plexi could be polished but I have left it as found. Note the black seal in the caseback has turned to gunk, this seems to happen after around 20 years, I can have this cleaned up prior to shipping if requested, I just wished to illustrate the watch its in untouched state, I re-illiterate the case has NO corrosion. Bezel: Super sharp DNN, no major marks, this bezel is correct for the serial range. Movement: Winds, resets and ticks correctly, however service history is unknown – the case back shows no sign of any service marks, the screws are particularly clean and un-chewed, the plating is of good consistent colour. I do not wish to guarantee timekeeping and would recommend a service before winding this watch. Summary: Watch is a super sharp example, it is only being removed from my collection as a victim of apartment renovations. I prefer to keep descriptions pretty basic and just sell off the pictures provided which I believe clearly illustrate the watches condition, these watches are now also well documented (www.speedmaster101.com) My Price: I am offering this watch for £5650 net to me via bank transfer; this includes shipping anywhere in the world (likely via Fedex). The watch is located in the UK and I could transact face-to-face in London with established members if requested. Returns: I have never had anyone ask for a return, I would consider it only if the watch is terribly misdescribed. I am not going to refund you if it gains 12 seconds in a day after 3 weeks.
