    Hi at all.
I‘m new within the Omega Forum and want to say „hallo“ with a quick review of my new, old Speedmaster.
The Speedy comes together with a Black/White NATO strap, an 1116/575 Steelband and an Hirschmann Alligator Brown Vintage Style Band.
The Dial is in a perfekt condition and Shows slightly Brown discollerations at 6‘ o clock. Will See if it turns tropical of not. The serial number is at the lower 29 range. Still missing is the Don bezel but its and never ending Story .
With a bit luck i will find one...

    Here some pictures, enjoy

    Kind regards from south Germany
    Martin

Hi Martin - welcome to the Forum! The hands and bezel have both been replaced, and the case also looks a bit polished. The outside of caseback looks great, but you would need to see the inside to confirm it's reference. Lastly, a movement shot is also needed to make sure it's within proper range. If the asking price is not too steep, it would be a nice daily/beater watch.

Yes, your wright. The Bezel is new (wrong) and as well the Hands. The seller thought he would get more money if he send the Watch for revision.
Omega replaced the Hands and the Bezel. Serviced the Movement and sent all the replaced Parts to the owner.
And, you know it allready.... he throuh all old Parts to the bin .
Anyhow, Ive got the Beauty for less than 3k (€) and i will spent the saved Money on original hands and Don bezel to Become an original speedy.

    welcome to the forum!
as you said, it is a never ending story. Once you finished this one you want to have a 321 or whatever! It is always the same once you started!
But I wish you all of luck for finding a good DON ;)!!!

Welcome and congrats on your new pickup! Way to go to source the correct hands and bezel! Too bad the previous owner just threw them away. Happens a lot unfortunately.

    Greetings from Frankfurt!
