Please find for sale my Speedmaster Transitional with a mean and moody ghosted DON bezel. It’s a beautiful thing. The Watch was serviced by STS in 2015 whilst Simon Freese was still there - as such it winds beautifully, like butter, I have a couple of Speedmasters serviced by Simon and both have this characteristic. By no means am I a Speedmaster expert, but I do love them to bits. I’ll describe it from that point of view. Case - is in great condition and was subject to a very light hand refinishing to restore brushed and polished finishes by STS at Service. Caseback- in great condition, the Hippocampus is nice and clear Crystal - replacement Omega Crystal Crown- period correct narrow Omega logo Pushers- period correct Dial - Applied Metal Logo, Step Dial, long hour markers. In good condition, yellowy Tritium with a few small patches missing (see Lume shot under UV) Hands- Period correct, with Tritium intact Movement- number begins 2655xxxx, in the correct range for the Transitional according to MWO etc. Bezel- Ghosted Grey DON, adds some real character to the Watch in my opinion. Looks Grey/blue in some light conditions Some photos (harsh and natural light) selected photos are courtesy of the previous owner - thankyou! Have I missed anything? If you’ve any questions please PM me and I’ll do my best to answer I’ve a few references here on OF, buying and selling. https://omegaforums.net/threads/nathan1967-great-guy.68211/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/nathan1967-perfect-and-friendly-buyer.67672/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/nathan1967-is-a-good-seller.65645/ Price- £5750 net to me head only. I’d rather arrange face to face for this one. I'm based in the U.K. in South Oxfordshire. I attend Time4aPint and I do travel a bit. But let’s talk I’m open to discussions about how to get the Watch to you.
